Dr. David Paulson
Dr. David Paulson has a particular interest and expertise in spinal tumors, spinal deformity and with non-fusion type surgery of the spine for treatment of spinal degeneration. He is experienced in complex revision spine surgery and welcomes consultation for a second opinion in failed back surgery and adjacent segment disease.
Dr. Paulson received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his general surgery internship at the University of Colorado and then an NIH funded post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Paulson’s neurosurgical training took him to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson where he completed and in-folded tumor fellowship. Dr. Paulson also completed a fellowship in Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington and his chief residency at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.
Dr. Paulson is board-eligible through the American Board of Neurologic Surgeons and is a contributor to the field of neurosurgery having published many articles in neurosurgical journals.
